Founded in 2005, we are a registered NGO dedicated to empowering communities and protecting the environment across Jharkhand and beyond.
NATURE โ National Awareness Training and Research for Urban-Rural Environment โ was founded in 2005 by Kavita Parmar(Patron -cum- Chief Advisor) in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, with a clear mission: to bridge the gap between urban opportunity and rural need while nurturing the environment that sustains all of us.
Over two decades, we have grown from a small community group into a nationally recognized NGO with six active programs, hundreds of trained volunteers, and thousands of lives directly impacted across Jharkhand's urban and rural communities.
Our work is grounded in the belief that sustainable change happens from the inside out โ through empowered individuals, informed communities, and a respected natural environment. - Sanjay Singh (Perisident)
A world where urban and rural communities thrive together in harmony with nature โ where every individual is empowered, every community is informed, and every natural resource is respected.
To connect and empower individuals through training, awareness, and skill development, while cultivating a mindful, inclusive, and sustainable society that honours both people and planet.
Every program we design considers long-term environmental and social impact, not just immediate outcomes.
We serve all โ regardless of caste, gender, religion, or economic status. Equality is non-negotiable.
We publish annual reports, maintain audited accounts, and welcome scrutiny of how every rupee is spent.
We constantly evolve our programs โ embracing technology, research, and new models of community engagement.
Programs are designed with and for communities โ participatory, bottom-up, and deeply respectful of local wisdom.
